Notebook Mockup Exploration

Featuring our notebook visual exploration from Filato’s mockup lineup.

For this study, we worked with six curated notebook mockups—four premium sets and two standout freebies—captured through the Fuji X-T2 to maintain a clean, consistent, and tactile visual tone. From smooth matte covers to textured paper grains, from flat-lay compositions to light-driven shadows, we assembled a series that blends material sensitivity, form testing, and visual discipline into one cohesive narrative.

This exploration highlights how simple objects behave under different lighting moods and surface reactions, creating a direction useful for mockup refinement, portfolio elevation, and future stationery-driven design studies.
